Dogs Welcome

We welcome all dogs, all breeds, all sizes at our cottages. We like to keep our rules easy for our guests and as each cottage is different, please see our different cottages below.

WOODSIDE

• At Woodside we welcome up to 4 dogs free of charge.
• We do not accept dogs under 9 month of age
• Dogs are allowed everywhere in the cottage but we do request if you want your dogs upstairs to bring your own bed linen and let us know. We do charge for hair impregnated bed linen and paw prints etc
• We understand that dogs love to sit on sofas and dogs are allowed on the furniture downstairs on a CLEAN throw of your own.
• The patio garden is fenced and walled to a height of 5-6 foot and is attached to the cottage. There is an outside tap for mucky paws
• The cottage garden is fenced and walled to a height of 5-6 feet and is 5 paces from the front door across the neighbour’s drive.
• There are wooden and tiled floors downstairs and carpet upstairs.
• We provide cleaning products.
• There are amazing walks to High Dam lake from the front door, dogs can swim in the lake.
• The nearest beach is at the estuary at Greenodd
• Please do not leave your dog unaccompanied in the cottage unless you are confident, they will settle. this is a new environment for your dog and as such they can become distressed and bark, making themselves ill.

FELL VIEW

• At Fell View we welcome up to 3 dogs free of charge. We will consider 4 small dogs.
• We do not accept dogs under 9 months of age
• Dogs are allowed everywhere in the cottage but we do request if you want your dogs upstairs to bring your own bed linen and let us know. We do charge for hair impregnated bed linen and paw prints etc
• We understand that dogs love to sit on sofas and dogs are allowed on the furniture downstairs on a CLEAN throw of your own.
• The garden is grassed and fenced and walled to a height of 6 foot and is attached to the cottage. There is an outside tap for mucky paws.
• There are wooden and tiled floors downstairs and carpet upstairs.
• We provide cleaning products.
• There are beautiful walks from the front door through fields and woods to Cartmel.
• The nearest beach is at the 3 miles away at Grange over Sands.
• Please do not leave your dog unaccompanied in the cottage unless you are confident, they will settle. this is a new environment for your dog and as such they can become distressed and bark, making themselves ill. It is distressing for our neighbours listening to them howling and barking.

LOW MILL 

• At low Mill we welcome up to 2 dogs free of charge.
• We do not accept dogs under 9 months of age
• Dogs are NOT allowed upstairs We do charge for hair impregnated bed linen and paw prints etc
• We understand that dogs love to sit on sofas and dogs are allowed on the furniture downstairs on a CLEAN throw of your own.
• The patio garden is fenced and walled to a height of 5 foot and is attached to the cottage. There is an outside tap for mucky paws
